Welcome! I am a PhD candidate in Applied Mathematics at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, advised by Prof. Zaikun Zhang and Prof. Xiaojun Chen.
My research focuses on derivative-free optimization and its applications, especially direct search methods. I am interested in designing and analyzing algorithms that do not require gradient information, with an emphasis on theoretical guarantees and practical efficiency.
